This fruit is sought after for its richness in vitamin C (2 times richer than rose hips and 10 times richer than citrus fruits), vitamin A, B-complex vitamins (B1, B2, B6, B9), as well as the E, K, P, F vitamins, microelements such as calcium, magnesium, iron, polyunsaturated fatty acids and beta-carotene. Due to its properties, sea buckthorn is used in human and veterinary medicine, cosmetics, horticulture and agriculture, animal husbandry (feed), food industry, forestry and landscaping.

We offer specialized consultancy regarding the establishment, maintenance and exploitation of sea buckthorn plantations, land preparation, optimal planting densities, the actual planting, pruning and fruiting technology, in order to obtain as high yields per hectare as possible, as well as manual and mechanized harvesting methods.
Registered varieties
I. The CARINA variety
A variety with high yield, round bright orange berries, rich in vitamin C (1.11 mg/ litre –juice, 39.60 mg/100g – raw fruit and provitamin E.

II. The CRISTINA variety
A variety with a great number of shoots per year, big yellow-orange fruit and high yield (minimum 10 tons/ha). The berries (fruit) are rich in vitamin C, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium. The tests carried out so far have proved that the berries, juice and seeds of this variety are very rich in mineral compounds.

III. The ANDREI variety
The tree has medium to high vigour and behaves well against the attacks of moniliasis and anthracnose. The effective pollination period is between the beginning and the end of April, with full coverage of the flowering periods of all female varieties, with rich, fertile and compatible pollen.
